Changes for 1.4:
removed the hotel glitch
added "road to jallajallabad" map
added inf only mode
removed all kinds of strange bugs
changes on the car drop

last min changes:
added new glitches all over karkand, go find them!
added server crash bug every 5 min.
changed the car drop to tank drop.
added some more lagg to all players.
you can now buy your daily hacks right in game 5$ each.
added some more commander bugs.
done the black hawk weaker.
assault weaker.
anti-tank now have 50 missiles.
added some more lagg to all players.

If the server crash bug isn't fixed don't bother releasing the patch. All the maps and game modes in the world will mean sweet *f* all if that isn't sorted out.
how a problem of that magnitude (that was actually brought about through a patch!) was allowed to remain un"hotfixed" for so long is beyond me...

Well any news is good news. And I am sure that the new patch will be good. About time we had some good news on what is happening :)

Some of you are strange when you complain so much before the new patch has come out. I think that EA and Dice have got it in hand and have worked on fixing the bugs and other things. Jim Bob have you played the beta if so then you will have notice no crash to desk top at all and a much more tighter game running smooth. Some other comments are lame but that what you get when people assume what the new patch will be like. Just be pleased that they have done something about it in a short period of time like I am so I can gain my lost points when the servers locked up to be fired back. Be glad that they have done something about the issues and not be so stupid saying that the patch will be rubbish before it has even been released. They will not make the same balls up.

If Ea doesnt fix the server crash bug then the community will turn on them even more then thet are if thats even possible.

Personally I think regardless when this patch is released, next month next week, this friday, whatever... its going to be just like the other patches they've already let out. It'll fix something that was broken, nerf something that was great, and break something else. I have to say either way the patch is needed to fix the crashes, and hopefully that exploit on Karkand.

I have high hopes for this patch, they have made 2 public beta testing phases. No other patch had that, however this also saddens me.

Could this really be the last patch in BF2? They seemed to have put a lot of work into this patch and they added quite a lot.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I do belive that this might very well be the last BF2 patch we will get.

I bet 100€ that whenever this patch will gonna be out, the server crashes prob introduced by 1.3 patch, will still be one of our worst nightmares!!!

So I am not really that surprised about this new patch release, unless of course I'll lose my 100€! :)

The CTD are "no more"
Many have tested the beta vesion without many problems like this patch

If 1.4 fixes CTD + random connection lost / game freezes. .....

miscellaneous other errors will be bit more tolerable.

How 1.3 got released + then no hotfix is disappointing to say least.

too ****ing long its just a repeat of 1.3 with a few Minor changes

You people complain that when they release the patch its not done and still have bugs. But yet when they acutally take the time to try to make it right. You still are pissed at them. You people will never be happy.

As for me 1.3 runs fine but its cool to hear about the new patch coming soon. And if it dosnt. Ill just keep playing bf2 till it does.
