    Echoes of Glory Mod Update

The team behind the Echoes of Glory mod is back today with a massive update showing off a ton of new in game screens. Have a look:
Hello and welcome to yet another Echoes Of Glory Update. Today there's plenty to show, and plenty to tell. EoG has been hard at work, trying its best to bring the community one of the best civil war games to date, and under our opinion here, we have done the best we can, And we believe that we have succeeded in many amounts, we only hope that you will think the same. Also for Some Information Regarding The Team, Robert, From BGF Has Joined To Help A Little Bit Around The Scene, Shop has Shown Us Magnificent Talents Of Coding, and Amos Has Created Some Amazing New Models You Will See Soon In The Future...

Well first I would like to show off a new map centered around "The Battle of Shiloh", because of its almost 100% authenticity. Designed And Mapped By Robert Accordingly To All Realistic Data Concerning The Battlefield That Day. The Terrain Is That Of The Actual Shiloh/Pittsburg Landing Area, And Every Natural Item Is Placed To Exact Locations, Taken From Over 60 Maps And Over 100 Photos, So Here Is a Nice Little Preview. does that train actually follow the tracks, and can you actually control it, if so than I think there are many many modders who would like to know how you did that. Seems as if working trains are a b*tch to get working with BF2, but if it does work great than kudos to you all for doing so.

Either way Im certian that I will be checking out your mod when its released, good job :)

      .

I must say the ingame screen shots look great . Love the attention to detail with the tree's having that nice autumn look .

Although , how are you going to implement vehicles . Not many vehicles available at that time except horses ?

I tell you what if these guys keep the levels relatively small, have these dense tree patches we see, have basically 1 or 2 control points, and basically fight fort to fort or have one or two locations under seige this mod will be very neat to check out.

I have to say that work looks great, although I wish they hasn't felt the need to capitalise nearly every word in the last paragraph. I'm curious as to how the train will work, if it isn't simply a static piece

Make the maps the propersize, only calvery, wagons, trains, and handcarts were the only real vehicals that were in that time frame. there for make it more fort like battles. and defintly research the battles your doing to get the proper scaling.

i also have a map request, the river crossing scene from "the good, the bad, and the ugly." that was a decent sized map and offered plenty of hevey weapons to use

              (hmm.. gattling wagon?)

Ooo! navel battles! USS Monitor vs. CSS Virginia!
