Battlefield Pirates 2 Mod Update

The Battlefield Pirates 2 mod website has been updated recently with a bunch of new images and information. This time, the mod team is showing off some brand new renders and concept art. Take a look:

Welcome maties to another update from Pirates 2. It’s been smooth sailing for our crew, with all of our weapons for the first release skinned, the levels really starting to come together, and our player models almost completed! This is the first time we've shown you actual hand held weapons that you'll be seeing in the first release, so enjoy..

The Sharpshooter’s Musket has the same accuracy as the Raider's musket, but the attached scope will provide a much higher zoom as opposed to looking down the barrel of the musket. It has a slightly slower reload time then the standard musket, but more ammo is available to the Sharpshooter then the Raider class. The Musket and its scope attachment were modeled by Animonster and skinned by Bibi.

Im realy into old mods wich u use muskets n swords i cant wait for this mod 2 come out but is it avalible on sp n wen will it be relesed

Oh wow, this should be good. I started to laugh at first.. but hmmm... Melee combat with rapiers? That will be cool.

Allthough shooting with smoothbore muskets.... rifling will be missed, lol.

Still anticipating this one, one of my favorite 1942 mmods hands down.

P.S. Hey Ramster, i think thats the first time I have ever seen someone from Maine fly a Rebel flag.

Nice, hopefully that reload time for the sniper will stop everyone from whoring the sniper class just like........well every game. Raider Musket ftw.

not to sully the great world that mods so far have done (esp PRMM), but making a total conversion takes significantly longer. don't underestimate the huge amount of planning and work which goes into a total conversion mod.

BF1918 airshow 2 ye, they have basicly just took there models from there BF1942 version and improted them into BF2, its only like the planes thou...

It would be really great to see a mod that encourages sword/long kife fighting...more close up fighting.
