Battlefield 1918 Mod Update

There is a new update posted today over at the Battlefield 1918 mod website. They are showing off a new render. Take a look:

As all of our Newsposter Guys are very busy at the moment, we weren't able to give you any News lately. But from now on we'll try to keep you up to date more regularly.

This time we have a Weapon for you. We've allready shown you the Dynamite, this time we have the Detonator for you. It has been moddeled by "Kaiserjäger Goldi" and was skinned by "Tibmaker". This is also a sign that good old Tib is going to do some for us again.

I haven't seen any updates saying that 1918/2 Airshow is compatable with 1.3, i'm sure it is right? Gonna download it soon.

Anyway, nice update. This mod is looking fun, WW1 mod. People have been saying that all it would be is trench warfare which isn't exciting, but who knows. WW1 wasn't just ONLY trench warefare though, i guess...

personally i would find a trench warfare FPS rather exciting actually. IMO the key would be getting some form of audio signal ingame to give everyone something to coordinate their charge with. Perhaps commander given with a reload time and some form of benifit... Either way, the concept is rather untouched - which i find intriguing

A WW1 mod can be a hell of fun, the WW1 soldiers used bolt action rifles. A mod about Napoleon wars with realistic reload times could be a pain for AK47's lovers but bolt action rifles with 1 second of reload time are perfectly fine, is more slow paced but still fun. And WW1 planes combat rocks
