Battlefield Podcast Episode 15 Released

The team behind the Battlefield Podcast site have released episode 15 of their series today. This new episode discusses DICE's response to the 1.4 beta as well as a spotlight with Sir. Elxx about BF2: Sandbox. Here's what they had to say:

In this episode 15 we go over all the mod news of the past week, discuss the changes made by EA/Dice in response to the beta release of Patch 1.4, and bring you the latest developments in Battlefield 2142. Our special feature this week is a roundtable discussion with Satcom, the founder of the Alternative Battlefield Rankings project. If you enjoy mods and cherish your stats, this is a must listen! Finally we talk to the creator of the Sandbox mod, a modification for Battlefield 2 that allows you to let loose your inner child. We’ve also got some tips for struggling snipers out there.

I don't understand why you guys did'nt ask ABR systems about the flamage they put on the POE mod. That would of made my day. If you don't know what I am talking about check this out http://www.pointofexistence.com/foru...showtopic=6955 then view the ABR official site and see the same post their.

Thats not right to slam the mods they are trying to get to use their system. POE is developing their own stats system which apparently has really pissed off ABR folks.

damn those abr dudes sound like a right bunch of prats after reading that poe forum.

Anyway about the podcast cant wait to listen these are actualy more enjoyable than playing the game with 1.3, keep up the good work dudes I really enjoy these.

[offtopic]From what ive seen POE are the ones that keep going on about that, ABR want no further involvement with POE, simply put POE will never have an ABR ranked world. I do wonder though, where is this magical poestats? and where were POE when EA were about to shove mods into the dirt and walk over them?[/offtopic]

Great podcast, nice to hear Elxx's gay voice again (anyone wants a gay sounding voice in a video call Elxx. ), great to hear the info about ABR and as I said on the thread in the BFP forum you can have a look here for video compression info.

It was a great podcast! I enjoyed it very much. Elxx's voice isn't that gay, it's just kinda soothing, the kind of voice you'd want to tell you bedtime stories so you go to sleep.... erm...
