Theres a Civil war mod? Sweeet Those renders look really great, plus if I'm not mistaken that's a fort in one of those screenshots. I'd just love to fight a battle defending that! Here's hoping there's a singleplayer mode

seems strange to tell a team to do something to make them "more professional" when they have in fact done it for every news update they have ever released since day 1 bar one screenie spread. ah well, i suppose everyone wants to contribute in some way these days :laugh: AFAIK going into freecam will eliminate the FPV and thus take away the 1st player mesh on the weapons - in other words they actually did the right thing.

I think its safe to say that if they have used freecam and drawhud in other screenies that they are already aware of these functions and use them where appropriate.

there were a few updates before this one ... but the mod-developing goes very slow ... theres a coder missing ... just like us at IDF ... we could have a release now with a coder

did you even read what i said? If the polaroids had been taken without the hud then we wouldn't have seen the weapons shown in FPV. Thus going against the purpose of the screenies themelves. If i sound like an idiot for commenting on that then imagine what that makes you for flaming somone in a mod update without even commenting on the mod itself :shakehead Nice to see you making a contribution though - look at the mirror, enjoy seeing a tool :laugh:

I believe so. renderer.drawHud 0 would get rid of the players needed to start game text, but you would still be recording in first person unless you go freecam. No HUD = no health/ammo info, minimap, any text onscreen, etc.

Edit: and, nice update guys.. too bad coders are so hard to find for BF2. Co-incidence? You decide :hmm:
