but if i want to patch back to 1.3 can i just run the 1.3 patch install thing or do i have to reinstall the hole BF2? and what 1.3 patch do i have to run? the little one or the large?

Indeed. They do have a learnign curve. The US APC is obviously not meant for flying like a jet, it's for a random bash into things. But MEC APC is different.

Patch 1.4 was Beta and if you did it right, it would if safeguarded your 1.3 install. If this is not the case, reinstall Bf2 and install full 1.3 patch. :)
