The multiplayer is horribly unbalanced, but it's not meant for MP as mentioned. I don't know why people are hosting servers as CONQUEST and not COOP. Whichever team has more/better aircraft is the team that wins (unless pilots suck).

I'm not complaining about the mod, but the servers need to do COOP NOT CONQUEST!!

I always use the Hard setting. Much better that way. :)

Is that on easy, normal or hard, Red Devil?

Great review, but i have a few comments myself
-I did not even bother reading the second page of posts, as i felt most would be the same so please don't hate if i re-itterate some of those topics.
I'm a big fan of this mod and I loved the first release almost as much as this new release, and I just have a few comments.
*it seems people either hate "too much realism" or say "it's too arcade-style"
I've heard both of those from posts about AI, and on other topics.
But all AI does, is bring potential to play the game how you want. If you want to play arcade style, you can take off in f16s from a carrier and can fly around and rain death with your helos that have AA missiles and all that. Or, you can take a more strategic approach to matters. While it may be difficult, AI gives you the tools to play tactical as much as arcade. With timed c4, teargas, mortars, double zoom sniper rifles, and a couple new weapons, you can achieve what you want through either type of gameplay. For example, during single player i can fly around in my cobra and get shot down and just have a blast against the improved AI. Or, as I've achieved earlier, set some timed c4 on a bridge and count it out in my head, get some AI to chase me and trick em into going over the C4 just as its time expires.
The AI mod opens up a whole new way to play the game, atleast in my opinion, and allows me to play one single mod with the combined experience of a couple mods combined (and also reminds me of DC and old fashioned BF2 preview videos)

Tonnes of new weapons coming in .3! I already have 2 new rifles modelled with many more planned. Thanks for the kind words stalker, we've had a lot of fun making it :)

Man what a blast!!!!!! This is the first mod I have downlaoded and played. Well worth it. I really like Surrounded 2 and liberation,very cool maps. Looks like alot of work thanks for the effort. Hard to go back to vanilla BF2 after playing.
