It also did not fix my sound issues. I get the sounds from two-three players all at once.

I would really bet that your sound issues are your drivers/soundcard/or sound settings, not the game.

LOL YESS!! They fixed the car drop so no more car dropping on run ways or helipads or commader assets (just a guess forgot to try it out)

Wow after 10 full patches they decide to beta test...HAHAHAH OMG now that is funny..I can see it now "get the 1.4 beta patch its Oxymoron"....LOL sorry this beta patch should have been started day one!!!

You're kidding right? It's BETA, meaning not quite finished. Don't download it if you do not intend to BETA test. You will need to re-download when the final is released.

redownload when the final is done? :laugh: more like redownload a large number of times, its most likely going to be a series of betas :P

and theres an thread on the ea forums so bug reports.

Okay this beta is really cool and Im just gona put a few comments.

Bugs, for the time I played there were not really any bad bugs, like bunch seemed to be fixed. The medic gun the 2nd unlock seemed a lil less accuratte but its just prob my computer lol. The new map Road to Jalabbadd seems pretty good but the fact that I found that America had a slightly smaller avandtage over the MEC but it made us fight all the harder. I like the fact that only squad leaders can ask for a car from the Commander. The servers were a little slow but I like the infantry only mode its pretty cool. Even when u change team and that u cant join a squad right away is pretty good because u can hop from squad to squad like we used too. Overall good job on the update beta. Just work a little bit on the loading of player stats, i found that very slow and the option of play now in battlefield 2. But keep up the good work!! My computer didnt crashe so Im pretty happy!

What does this beta have,fixes and adds?I know it adds no vechiles but all server have them still.Is there a list of fixes some where that I missed that in this beta?
I only thing i notice is better FPS but I think its cuz theres not 64 players on server.Oh and new map.

Open beta = Good
Fact that its still broken = bad

New map = best one after Operation Road Rage
Switching sides and not able to select a squad immediatly = very bad

Now wait a minute.... only some of EA's servers will be running 1.4 server-side? So for everyone who installs this *beta* patch, they can no longer connect to the remaining 99% of 1.3 servers out there unless they downgrade? I'd love some more info on this...

Odds are that it acts like a seperate mod.

Same situation like how everyone was worried DCF would overwrite the orignal DC, but they just made it its own thing.

No, it's not a mod at all in any way, shape or form. It's a patch and like the previous patches, it patches the game files (go figure).
