Swedish Forces Mod Update

After a couple months break, the team behind the Swedish Forces mod is back today with a new update. This update mostly consists of the showing of static models. Take a look:

Well, it was quite a long time ago we posted some screens on the website (And the exclusive shots on the bf2.se website)So we need to give you something. If you think we have been having a vacation, you're wrong. We have been working hard with for instance staticobjetcs, so this update is the "staticobjects update", where we show some static objects (Both renders and ingame shots). We're also showing you a new weapon, and a reskinned version of the AK5.

Awesome. I've actually held one of those Ak-5s. Heavy.

Has anyone else been to the military museum in Stockholm? That place is sweet. It describes Sweden's military all the way from the prehistoric (cavemen) up through the 30 year's war, Carl Gustav, World War II and the Swede's volunteering to fight for Finland. Plus they've got some awesome hardware outside of the place - a s103, an ancient APC and an FH 77 artillery piece. Really great museum. I think the entrance was free, too. God. Sweden rocks.

Yes, that is defenately a place to visit when you are in Stockholm.
First time I ever saw a real FN P90. That gun is wicked!

Plus there's no one guarding you in the Swedish museum, AND you can take flash photos everywhere except in the heraldic sigils room. In the French museum musee de l'Armee, there's a buff guard every twenty feet carrying a billy club and videocameras everywhere. I had to prove to one of the guards that my flash function was off. Not only that, but the museum freaking sucked. There were a few rifles and pistols, a bunch of uniforms, the turret from a Pzkfw I and an intact FT-17. And like 500 medieval cannon barrels.

Oh, also, there was this tiny demonstration outside with some guys playing drums about something or other, and because of this, I saw at least three Renault vans filled with SWAT guys wearing full body armour and carrying automatic weapons, 8 guys per van. Christ. Crazy frenchmen.

Also, just to show that this wasn't an isolated incident, French subway drivers/bus drivers apparently don't wait to make sure everyone is in or out of their vehicle - on the way to the hotel from the airport, my sister had doors literally closed on her body three times. THREE TIMES!

Nice! - but palmtrees..??

Granted, I saw one especially planted at the exhibition B0-99 in Helsingborg. maybe that's the one in the picture? :p

On with the pines, firs, birches and boulders from the ice age. And instead of grass, lingonberry everywhere. :)

Would also love to see a mod in the swedish archipelago - lots of rocky islands covered with vegetation (or totally bare) of all sizes to capture, only boats and jetskis as transport, maybe helis and jets, but then there´d better be lots of AA to counter them.
