let me know if you need help - i'm a sec. expert. this is CRAP
Im not getting involved with this at all, but I'll say that there's honestly no security issue. The guy that built the community had a few back doors and other ways of getting in. When he was let go by MYIS he went to school on thoe back doors.

Just making sure you all understand that its just GW.... :|:

EDIT: I'd also like to hope that people's comments are'nt getting edited and that no one is getting banned over stating their opinion....

Hmm.. there's a lot of pent up anger on the forums.

Remind me though, how did myis come into ownership of tbf2.... wasn't this site bought? If that's the case, then GameWizard is seriously messing with things he doesn't understand.

In defence of myis: the site hasn't really changed all that much since the switch, this is a good place to come most of the time.

Against myis: I disagree with who you are sticking as moderators. People like Revolution have their fair share of abusive comments, not only against me but against other people too.

As for jimmy nortons ban, he's taken active measures to insurrect the community. I don't, nor do I want to know the intricacies of what happened.

MYIS, if my personal details aren't safe from GW, how can they be safe from anyone else? I'd like some reassurance.

This is not a small case. I want to hear from someone that our personal data is in tact. NOW. This is P1!!!!!!

Another very legitimate question. An answer from MyIS?

A lot of the original code made by GW is still in use, or so I believe, thus he knows his way in and out of this community since he created it all. However if he got in via another method, then yes there's a risk.

Also, to the man stating that his personal info could be at risk. Can you explain please? I dont see how a community getting hack automatically gives the hacker your bank statements, Social security number, ect.

I will tell you guys our security is fine, the problem is GW used to have full access before he was let go. Why do you think we had to do the whole over again?

As for GW he sold TBF2 for a reasonble sum, much more then $100 and he was a paid employee and made the same as a part time job for over a half year till he did not fulfil his duties.

As Spawn said we will have more for you guys later.
