What exactly is the whole story? So GameWizard created this site and, what? Collaborated with MyIS who subsequently fired him? Could someone please clarify? Also, since this thread is about this topic, I AM NOT OFF ON A TANGENT, so if someone deletes this post or any others, I will be extremely ****ed.

Just because you can delete posts you don't agree with doesn't mean you should, admins. If it's not because of racism or bigotry or whatever, it's facist censorship, and I won't have it.

Because this guy was able to "steal" my account information here, I feel I deserve to know exactly why it happened. What is the story here?

He doesn't care about anybody password, and there's no way in hell he knows mine. I think right now everyone is getting angry at the wrong people. Who allowed him to walk right in? Who allowed him access after he left? Who failed to tighten security?

Oh yeah? You can't issue a riposte to his email in the form of this thread, and then completely ignore the community queries. It seems to me that MyIS is as much in the wrong as GW by allowing my account information to be stolen (yes, I have received an email from GW). What is the story here?

Hmmm, seems like MYIS is being strangely defensive about this. What is with all this stuff saying, it is GameWizard that did this!!! and it is GameWizard that did this!!!! It is almost like MYIS screwed up and now they are screaming "Witch!" to distract everyone. Its like, when microsoft releases crappy software that is easily hacked, sure people dont like the hackers, but its microsoft who released the insecure software in the first place. **** that MYIS, you let him steal my password. If any of my emails, bank accounts, or school accounts are hacked im going to be ****ed at you. Secure the ****ing site.

In all fairness you could have just said some passwords were stolen by a hacker, and not gone into so much detail, and name pointing. It seems very immature.

That doesn't make sense. Let me make a poor analogy to explain this to you: if you bought a Ferrari 575M Maranello with no side windows and no hood, it would be easy to steal. You might complain about that. Just because you complain about the security of your car, doesn't mean you don't enjoy its content - who doesn't like to drive fast? Similarly, who doesn't like the forums and news posts here better than, say, pbf? But from this and previous incidents, I'm thinking I might've been better off not getting a forum account at all.

man, its sad when small community sites grow to a point where they turn into corporate entities. this isnt a shot at myis or gw. its just that why cant fansites just stay fansites? as long as they grow in a fashion that adapts to the size of the community and thats all, why do they always want to go beyond that into territory that becomes filled with dangerous deals, where politics become involved. i loved bf42.de, but when it became fpscentral, it was obvious it was a bad turn of events. i hate when small works of love become looked at money making operations. why cant the world remain innocent! :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: i think really when the fansites outgrow their niche, its really self defeating. they lose their original cozy feel that made them so attractive in the first place. IMO trying to turn a niche fansite into a whole gaming network never works. maybe someone can prove me wrong
