This site is looking more and more like when BF42.de was taken over by a corporation, turned into FPScentral by Jeremy "Summit", and subsequently run into the ground.

I just want a good news source for BF2, and maybe a POTD once in a while, nothing more....pls don't try to fix what's already working...
The downfall of BF42.de/FPSCentral also started this away, with the former owner having an ugly dispute with the company that took over.

I even warned something like this might happen, but was assured by several MyIS employees the site wouldn't change much.

GameWizard used his previous access to steal your user information (this means your password too) in order to start a site of his own. Simple as that. He then solicited you without your concent by sending a mass email targeted at discrediting TotalBF2.com.

If he wants to start his own site, we don't care. As soon as he starts messing with our community and pestering our members, we need to get seriously involved. This will not blow over lightly for him.

Just a note, contrary to what MyIS wants you to believe your passwords were not compromised. They are stored on the server in an encrypted fashion, and not even the admin can decipher them.

myis is one of the gretest things to hit bf2 i think as the provide tournaments and all that good stuff so i back them 100%

You've said before that the password is encrypted so that even you guys can't tell what it is, isn't that the same thing here? Besides, is the security so lax here that he could just walk in and take everything? Shouldn't we be angry at you for giving him the hole he needed?
