Aww... I remember back when we were all waiting on the BF2 demo, you where the man.

Its great that the site has taken off like it has, but I'm afraid I lost my interest. TotalBF2 was just Totaly BF2. JUST BF2. It had a great community, but now it is starting to seem like a marketing and money maker, and a less than perfect community and ownership. Not cool.

I loved the old design, everything look nice, and was almost always working, the best BF2 site ever in my opinion. But times have changed I think I will be moving on to another BF2 site. Nothing is wrong with this one, but its just become to much of a portal/planet site and the community has changed. Things have happened, and people who used to be original creators are gone. Not the TotalBF2 of old.

You know, I read the bottom "All original content © 2004 - 2006 MyInternetServices.com LLC. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. All Rights Reserved. Site developed by Stephen Medd and designed by Iain Edminster.", and I think, "No. No its not your content or your design, and there is no way in hell this is your site."

Should have kept it Rico.

(Note to admins: You can delete this post and account if it offends you. I wouln't be around anymore to care. But hey, its in a better place already now isn't it?)

Your right, content belong to their respective owners and the site was designed and developed by Stephen Medd & Iain Edminster. Well done in contradicting yourself.

Rico, Gm, & friends no longer own the site. I was pointing out that MYIS acts like its all thier's.

Plus its "All trademarks" are rights of thier' respected owners, thats EA with the BF2 logo, or EA and Dice with thier' own logos.

Stop trying to protect what your forced to believe. Those people made this site, and should be respected. :hmm:

I don't know how everything went down here..nor do I even care, and I think it's funny to see you all argue..

But it reminds me a whole of Electronic Arts. Everyone says "I hate EA" and "EA sucks" and all of that - we know what people say about them. Well EA goes out and buys tons of developers etc. And a lot of people hate EA.

So it reminded me a lot of this situation. :)

(By the way, I think it's hilarious that people have to actually post "please dont ban me" when they post something. Wow.)

                  which leads to this

All original content © 2004 - 2006 MyInternetServices.com LLC. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. All Rights Reserved.
Site developed by Stephen Medd and designed by Iain Edminster.
What this entitles the copyright to do, is the "trademarks belong to their respective owners". Trademarks, as in EA Games logo. Battlefield 2 logo. That's supposed to be in our footer for legal purposes. Along with any kind of website that has material that they don't officially own. Things that were actually trademarked. As far as I know, GW and his team never officially "trademarked" or "copyrighted" (remember, I said officially) TotalBF2.com.

Which then leads us to this post by GW when MyIS came into the picture:

Not really when I'm not sure if you own the house. How much did you pay GW? $300? Don't you think that was a bit low for a site you'd bleed to death for money?

Which he can legally back out of. As he is (and obviously was at the time) under the age of majority, he is not bound by any legal agreement, contract or deed so can back out of it at any time. Surely MyIS knew that?
