There is a new update posted today over at the BattleGroup Frontlines mod website. They are showing off a new vehicle today. Have a look:

Welcome to another Battlegroup: Frontlines news update. We have been going threw many intra-team changes, but we are more organized and back in full force. We will be releasing news on a more regular basis now, so watch this spot!

Today we are showing off our Lend-Lease DUKW modeled by Bonehead, and skinned in Russian colors by Robur (who also rendered these shots).

Looks awesome. I'm curious as to what purpose it will serve. GP amphibious infantry carrier? Mobile spawn/ammo/health supplier?

I think it was fairly common. It was used during the D-day landings and a bunch were given to the Soviets via lend-lease.

They were used extensivly in river crossings during the end days of the Reich.

The DUKW is not in FH1.

No, DUKW and Ford GPA are diferent amphibius vehicles
