The team behind the Battlefield Podcast site have released episode 12 of their series today. This new episode discusses some on both BF2 and BF2142. Here's what they had to say:

In addition we have some insights on a letter written by DICE’s Senior Producer Marcus Nilsson where he discusses the lessons learned from Battlefield 2 and how their next title in the franchise will come away stronger. Next up we have some new information about Battlefield 2142 with Gamespot’s hands-on gameplay testing that reveals some neat new stuff! One of the dev’s from the Battleracer mod joins us tell us all about their car racing mod for Battlefield 2.
