Death is tragic, but is part of what happens in war. Unfortunately it takes risking life in order to gain democracy in almost every case. Many many Americans died in our own Revolutionary War when we gained our independence from England. Many have given their lives fighting for our own freedom and the freedom of others throughout history. You cannot say Bush does not care about the freedom of the Iraqis because he hasn't liberated every oppressed person in the world. That's a ridiculous argument. I wish we had enough allies to help the people in Africa, but we do not. Maybe someday the rest of the world will want to help oppressed people too and chip in by committing troops to back up their promises.

The insurgents are opposed to the Iraqi people having representative government so of course they're going to attack with all they have. Does that mean the Iraqis are supposed to quit? What do you propose we do? Say oops democracy is a bad idea because people who are opposed are attacking? I would like to know what your solution is for Iraq. So far all I've heard from you side is essentially leaving and letting the Iraqis try to fend for themselves against those who are suicide bombing them and trying to throw their attempt at democracy off track.

As far as Syria, I think that's where Saddam sent the majority of the weapons. Even the UN and the Clinton administration acknowledged that Saddam has WMDs, but you forgot that, huh. And for the record, helping a country establish their own elected government isn't aggression.

Lastly, who does the polls on Bush's approval ratings? You guessed it . . . liberal media. Like they're going to allow anything Bush does to be shown as good. But I don't care who I play BF2 with. As long as they can shoot straight and support a squad.

You must have confused me with someone else. I did not claim any figure for the causalities. I did not say hundreds of thousands and I did not lower anything! I just wanted to say that the current KNOWN numbers are bad enough.

FYI, I do not label myself as liberal. I am actually closer for being conservative than liberal (if I have to choose, but more accurately I am somewhere in the middle). If i criticize W then it does not mean I am liberal.

I personally do not like Fox because their propaganda style is irritating to me. They do not seem to respect anyone who disagrees with them.

Gallup is not part of a liberal media. Even "liberals" attack Gallup for being "conservative". Go and check MoveOn.org if you like. Anyway, that is a different issue. (FYI I do not remember when was the last time I watched CBS).

There a lot of bad things happening in this world. You do not have to go to war to help someone (including the Iraqis).

I did not say that W is wrong for going to war because he did not help the people in Africa or even tried to convey that argument. I wanted to say that there are too many easier peaceful good deeds he could do if he ever cared about helping the Iraqis (or non-Americans in general).

America is not a charitable organization like everyone else. Bush had his reasons to go to war and those are not the announced ones. He wanted to play the innocent but that is too good to be true. I cannot imagine him willing to spend 100's of billions of dollars and sacrifice thousands of Americans just because he wanted to help the Iraqis.

The argument about the war in Iraq can go forever. Let’s stop here because no one will convince the other!

Maybe we'd better go and play a game instead! I like the DAO :) it will help if you can be Support or Engineer :)

This is hilarious. The guy in the movie at the end says "I want to make it clear that another person modified the game to allow Insurgent Forces to kill US Troops". god this people are idiots.

Wow, these bureaucrats need some educating. I think they're more concerned about the movie & the propaganda side of it. Anybody can make propaganda movies though. They're chasing their tails. They ought to go out & buy a copy of BF2 and have some fun like the rest of us.

Actually the last estimate on Iraqi deaths was over a quarter of a million. Your forgeting that the casualties of war are more than the people who get shot or hit by bombs. When we deystroy water and ruin peoples ability to get food and medical attention people die VERY fast especially in an incredibly harsh country like Iraq.

How can you compare this war to the revolutionary war. In that war Americans decided they were tired of British rule and mistreatment so they made a decision to fright for independance. Iraq is more like france deiciding theyre tired of the British ruling are country and forcing us to fight for independance. It doesnt matter what we do to a country if we invade THATS AGRESSION.

Liberal media??? Like fox news I've already adressed this find me videos with newscasters screaming at conservatives and telling them to shut up and then I'll listen to your BULL**** about liberal media.

                  Actually, NO!

Thats the lame thing on Americas Army besides the huge wait times and the stiff animations.
Both teams are seeing the enemy team as terrorists while they see themselves as brave and righteous GI Joe.
The most pathetic thing I've seen in a Video Game so far.

Is that your only criteria for defining agression is invasion? So was the invasion of Normandy in WW2 by Allied troops considered an act of aggression?

Aggression is defined only as an initiation of force. For example if you get **** drunk in a bar and decided to hit someone because you don't like his taste in clothing, that is considered aggression. If you're the one with the bad taste in clothing the drunk guy dislikes, and you fight back, then it's called self-defense or retaliation.

You have to pay more attention to the words you use.

We invaded Afghanistan, it wasn't considered an act of aggression because Afghanistan through their actions initiated force against the US.

Yes any invasion is agression justified or not a military invasion constitutes agression. Dont give this we invaded but we did it in a nice way bs.

Even by your definition the invasion of Iraq was agression.

agression-violent action that is hostile and usually unprovoked
So even if youve been attacked, a counter attack is till agression, though usually not labeled as such because counter attack doesnt bother anyone.
