Put in some voice acting and some new maps and with Xalias' editing it could be one of Sir.'s best (and well only) series.

That sounds like a great idea and all until you actual go and consider how long it actually took to produce the movie. I wrote it in January and then it was to be filmed in Feb. but the new patch messed things up and we had to wait til march. The trailor came out pretty quick but it took awhile to actually put it on the market. I know Xalias has had enough for awhile. But it's an intresting idea and I'll look into getting vegas myself.

Also thank you for all your comments. "Constructive Critism" really isn't needed as the movie will never be redone but some comments do serve as good tutorials on how to make a good movie.

          Yes, a big thankyou!<O:p
          <O:p
I really appreciate the comments and effort you put into that StRuPiE.
What could I do with my production quality equipment on my side, makes me think of what the future holds... still this being only my second major project under my belt I'd say it's early times still! I have lots more work planned in and outside of movies, plus work for wage too lol!

For example, the slip-ups in editing, (I’m talking camera bugs, in amongst other things) which would be been avoided if I had the frame by frame playback I so greatly needed, In time this won’t be a problem anymore. The initial mistakes made with compression, my lack of experience with Battle Launcher is to blame for that. That’s the kinds of things I aiming to fix before I reach the next milestone. Right now though I'm focusing more on quantity, for portfolios sake as much to my fans delight, but don't think this means less quality oh no!
Just not advancing at the same speed.

This project I feel was one movie on the halfway point into my editing abilities and ranges with the introduction of Combustion an all, opening up entire new possibilities for effects I’ve only just begun experimenting with. (although it’s one voyage that will never end)<O:p</O:p
Before this I was aiming to cover more ranges of movie type, being that comedy, drama, action, etc. I'm almost ready to be taking on my own scripted projects with the community, and by doing so, climb the ladder by taking on that extra responsibly... being that the only responsibly I had for this was the editing. Stuff like voice overs would have been a great resource, I agree. But I wasn't there to demand things of my director, editors shouldn't have too.<O:p</O:p
          <O:p</O:p
Lastly, for those other people who insist on commenting with your keyboard before your head, I have a little treat for you. If you even perceive that you can do better than me in my postion, so be it.<O:p</O:p
The process of clearing out my computer after this project will be beginning shortly and it’s time to scrub Burning Sands off the plaque. I keep my history, but I don’t use it to move forward.

I'm actually running through a load of ideas right now on the Sir. forums for a movie of that kind, but possibly on a larger scale, god knows how long it would take to do though.

Constructive critisism is always good, and its always needed unless of course you don't plan to make another movie again..

lovd the action scenes, but the plot was a little hard to follow and y did the marines abandon the carrier if there was 1-2-3-5 or 6 guys on it?
                      next time:
At the start say what its about (kind of like a star wars start long not slanted)
and mybe have alot more guys in it

First off, Well done on getting such a big project going and finished.
Editing was done very well, i found a lot of the shots where the same style. Allso i felt it was way to long for what was in it, it could have being 9 - 10 minutes shorter and it would of had the same effect. Allso it didnt strike me as a movie more like you where watching these battles going from one to the next. They story i found didnt gel very well maybe if you guys added some more close ups and diaogue it would have worked a lot better. But i did enjoy it. Good job guys. :salute:

                        Story 2 - 10
                        Editing 8 -10
Effects 10 - 10 love the window dust effects & explosions.
                        Over all 7 - 10

Great movie, very well made. My only complaint about it (and I've seen this in every Sir. movie I've watched) is that there's guys bunnyhopping in a couple parts which really ruins the atmosphere of the movie.

Moral of the story is - 13-year-old kids with ADHD don't make good actors.
