mmmm CS:S, makes me want to play, what a great game.

Correct you are Calaros, I meant like the handle for instance on most weapons. In game, my hands are always covering it.

It doesnt look weird, and it isnt too long IMO.

Then again, as long as it shoots and reacts correctly, I dont care about that kind of stuff. It has no impact on gamepley, and nobody notices it in game.
honestly i'd expect that attention to detail would be a priority for a mod team.

The RPG's skin looks far to shiny and... idk just doesn't look very good.

Looks great in render but the pics in editor look to be exported wrong and are really shiny. Just some C & C, but i think shinniness is a quick fix, just change the ?alpha? map.

It is, and we appreciate the critique.

As for pilot, well he never misses a chance to voice his disapproval, so at this pont, it isnt really noticed. You guys would probably get along, lol.

You can put in cartoon models and textures, if it plays like DC I'm in.

Heh, I'm just letting you know in all honesty. I really don't like when people say something looks perfect when there are still things that need to be addressed. That doesn't help anyone for people to give false comments like that. If you want me to sit here and say "Awesome, that looks like it's 100% done" I will, but I am just trying to give some honest feedback.

Anyways, I didn't know the shine error was from the editor. The model looks terrific. Good work DCon.

People with an eye for quality usually do get a long. Remember that no matter how much anyone tries - it will never be perfect.

If you want me to put this the nicest I can, I'll just give you a quote that you may be feeling right now:

You know, you can't please all the people all the time... and last night, all those people were at my show.
                    - Mitch Hedberg

As for my comment, I stand by it. And since you didn't do anything to contribute to the model/skin, why don't you let the adults talk about improving things to get the best out of this mod we possibly could. There were some things that the real DC never lived down, like the safeties being on for all AK varients. If they would've caught it early, it would've been an easy fix.

well... LOL, the shinyness is from not editing the materials yet, still working on anis and whatnot, so no reason to edit them at this point. now that I've finished the animations and the entire thing is in game and working, it would be time to correct the 'shinyness' for all those that hate a good glare off their weapons... :)

Then why do you feel it necessary to nit pick until it is? Quite frankly, if your going to put that foot forward you might as well go back and look over everything you have ever said to the DCON devs because if you do - you will see how retarded that sounds coming from you what a stupid quote

well actually - no you cant. Your the only one babbling on here Dont try to include me in on your nonsense. And dont bother referring to sysex as not being "one of the adults" - he is certainly a hell of alot older than you, sir, and indeed FAR MORE MATURE. Besides, did you "contribute" to the model/skin? no? well then, perhaps its time for little troybobs to go off to nighty night and let the big boys talk, okay?

I didnt know that either to be honest, lol. If your going to give comments about what you would change, well then its good to give positive feedback sometimes also, which I know you have.

I think I suffer form a dad complex. I figure if someone is working hard, then say something positive, or not at all. Lord knows some of the smaller groups are working hard, but they are new to the scene. So im not going to mention the porblems, which they already know are there. I also dont want to discourage people from showing thier progress, which always gets better with time. Anyhow, forgive my sarcasm, and dont let it affect your posts by any means.

P.S. Its in game Hoof? I better get those sounds done, lol.

Looks awesome now Hoofer, thats what I meant in my post, I don't do any exporting or anything so I didn't know exactly what it was but I remember it was a pretty easy fix.
