Tactical War Mod Update

There is a new update posted today over at the Tactical War mod website. They are back with some new renders and in game shots. Take a look:

First, we make a point of informing you that the French community site www.bf2live.com have made with us an interview of a part of our team. You should take a look there to discover a lot of things abut the mod and few pictures.

Without waiting: what is new in TW? We have worked on the in-game integration of building as you can see and you will discover others building with the next news. Our great aircraft skinner/modeler THOR’S HAMMER have made us 3 skins to our TIGER.

A release date is coming slowly but patience, we can’t announce any precise date but… July seems to be a good month for TW.

I have to say, looks nice. Go to that BF2Live site and click interview. It's in French, but if you click on any picture you can see a huge amount of models and screenshots. It sure has alot of weapons...

looks great, but most of those buildings probably deserve large lightmaps, and it really spoils the ingame screens for me

That's because if you're speaking of this version:

It was released December of '05 and it isn't compatible with the latest 1.3 patch (doesn't work for the previous BF2 patch either I believe). I'm guessing that is what the problem is so you'll have to wait until July for the new version to come out.

I thought mods were not allowed to use BF1942 statics? Aren't some of those statics from BF1942?
