That is a decent looking model+skin, however IMHO it does fall short in alot of areas.

We would be more than happy to hear what you would recommend. Always room for improvement.

I am not here to tell you how to build your mod, only to critque it.
Besides, if I did get into detail, I'd get put on a stake and accused of mod bashing, and being someone else.

If your going to bother saying "it does fall short in alot of areas." then you better be bothered pointing out some of those areas.. because otherwise you pretty much ARE mod bashing.

When you "critique" something, normally you say what you are critiquing... If you arent strong enough to point out the areas of weakness dont bother posting - because it really is a waste of bandwidth otherwise and all you are doing is hurting people who donate their time so that nubs like you can enjoy a FREE game. nuff said.

I hope you use a bit of common sense next time

I think the skin just needs an extra touch of character and will loose the "toy" look: some chip paints in the panel lines, dust in the right places, some subtile weathering here and there, smoke dirtiness in the engine parts and weapons parts, some shadows and highlights in the metalic cylinders.

Anyways the normal mapping looks very low res, are you using small normal maps textures or maybe is an unwrap not using efectively the skin space, so it has a low pixel density?

But well, my business is WW2 and those old rusted pieces of junk, so maybe these tips don't apply to this modern bird

It appears that you are looking at the cockpit of a longbow, and not an ah64.
