Interested in UK QW servers, not BF2142.

Hum, I LOVE those kinds of sale.

        $300 off! Usually $350!

"what the market is asking for" is kind of flexible. What if the market prices go down? I'm still stuck at 50% of the bloated price at launch?

Any commitement? I.e. if I order now and then realize you guys are charging $300 for a 50 slot server can I get out after 1 month? Is there a satisfaction guarantee? What if the server lags like hell?

Sorry for all the question, I like to know what I'm getting into before getting a contract.

All of the same rules apply as if you were ordering a server from us on a regular basis, the only difference is that you get a price cut by pre-registering.

I suggest calling our sales dept. -- they will give you a very accurate breakdown of how this works.

I just didn't want to pen down a price. If I do and the other EA partners are pricing there servers higher we will have issues. The prices are going to be somewhere around what we are pricing the BF2 servers. You will get 50% off of whatever the price is at the time and you will keep that price for as long as you are a client. If the price of the server goes up or down it will not matter.

Well, let's see how this goes.

Worst case scenario if the prices set are way too high then I'll take 1 month of a 16 slot unranked and cancel after that and kiss my $50 goodbye.

However, regardless of what I said above, I know myinternetservices and they are pretty good so I don't have any worries.

Therefore I went ahead and pre-ordered!

                Thanks guys!

Note: You guys better not go under and file for chapter 11 between now and November.

                    Looks like a great deal.

Shame the same thing can't be said about EA/DICE and their new game.

Rent a server so it crashes every few rounds? no thanks.

The prices for the servers will be based on what all the other EA partners do. We are not going to price the servers high. This is a good deal for you guys. We are just trying to get an idea of the demand and the servers that we are going to need to purchase.

We will still be in business in November....

No mechs in 64 players size maps. They are having other issues with 64 player maps as well so expect more content ie. drones removed as well. Not to mention they have told people directly at e3 that 2142 has SERIOUS crashing issues just like the current bf2 versions. Have fun with your new servers everyone. 32 players max for all content. Sounds like etqw has a chance.

If the launch prices mirror bf2 then theres no deals to be had period at any discount. Also in case you didnt know before making the offer the 64 man servers use a minimum of 14mbits bandwidth and recommend a dual xeon well over 3ghz to run minimum requirements at capacity.

Good to hear but you are not the only ones to do this. My old servers (since switched to different company) offered them pre-sale since the firse suggestion of the game was even heard. Thanks though for the info!

He's simply basing his opinion on EA's pushed releases, which in "my opinion" seems very feasible to assume it will be very buggy.

That's if they haven't done anything to tweak certain coding aspects of the game.

I'll wait for a demo before I jump on the bandwagon, although it looks promising, let's hope you're not getting too high on yourselves.

I know! I can't wait to see the community trash talk the game company for releasing a buggy game, or imbalanced, etc etc.

Does anyone still knows, why EA hire "Ranked Server" for much money? After one year we all now, that all the arguments for the "Trusted partner" are nonses: the servers are laggy and crashes.

And now they want to find out, if the market (=the clans for EA's community!) will rent this servers again. Our clan will not rent a BF2142 server (we had one year a BF2 ranked and 2 years BF42/DC servers) for EA anymore. We are waiting for QWET. If ID-Soft is clever, they will not establish a ranked system with expensive servers like EA. And then, BF2142 will be a "barrel burst".

BTW: in germany there is only one "Trusted partner": 32 Slots Ranked for 206$ per month! Great price or?
