If they would have implemented a dawn to dusk lighting effect, something like what Joint Ops had I wouldn’t mind the whole night map thing, would have been rather cool.

Having a map always set in night mode sucks, I can tolerate maps like operation clean sweep but it’s far from my favorite. I didn't buy the EF booster, probably will pass on this Air Fury one.

Yes, you can ride the vehicles, but they won't have any mounted guns.
(Sorta like the ATV.)

Looks like the DEV's screwed us over with the bomber jets....

Not only do we not receive cluster bombs for the A-10, but we only get four (4) bombs to drop instead of 5 like the other bombers.

FFS, why will I buy this?

Wow lots of people not buying cuz they say it should be free, LOL. It still costs money to make extra stuff for games, new maps, new vehicles, weapons etc... they make them available and charge a modest fee and thats not good enough LOL.

Go play your free mods have fun with them but if they never made the BF series there'd never be any mods for em'.

People are on more than 30 some odd servers playing EF, just because the Map filter is not showing the maps doesn't mean there's not more servers out there playing them, you can run Vanilla maps and EF maps on the same server. So if it comes to Karkand it doesn't mean they don't still have them on it, wake up and smell the roses.

Man all I see is insipient complaining about what people will or will not play/buy, man, who cares... don't buy it, a few less people to worry that'll complain online about BF2 while I play a great game, good riddance.

The problem is that BF2 is not yet a great game: it's just a buggy beta.
And that ****es off everyone who bought the game in the first place.

A modest fee? New Vehicles and weapons? New Maps? All of the things you mentioned aren't cross compatible.I can't use the EU Support class on Strike at Karkand any more than I can use the USMC on Operation Smoke Screen.Sure I can run EF maps on my server,and everyone that didn't pay 'tribute' to EA gets disconnected on map change.Yay.

SF is totally segregated, you can't even have as much as a static oil drum from an SF map appear in any other BF maps.

Now here comes Airborne Assault (Sorry, armored fury it aint) with more incompatible maps and vehicles.It'll probably sell better than EF, but the BB shooting cannon on the A10 will turn people off as will the nonstop aircraft fueled beatings.

I've got a feature I'd like to see added... An honest to god fix of the red/blue bug!And maybe some strengthening of the net code so we dont have servers disconnecting so many people on map changes.
