Alaska, this Freeway map and what's the third one's theme?

It's set somewhere in the Great Plains. I'm not sure of the exact location, I think the original release said Pennsylvania, but anyone who has been to Pennsylvania will attest that there are no plains there :laugh:.

Hell, the radio chatter in BF:V was ten times better than BF2. BF2's are so lame. I want the taunt button back, that would be great after you kill someone and they are criticall wounded.

When it comes to the amount of gametime you get from Booster packs 10 dollars isn't always bad. I don't think that is why people ask you not to buy it.

I think peoples main gripe is we really wanted the support we got in 1942. Every week I log into BF2 and only see pop up adds for BF Euro Force, AF, Special forces. Everytime I log in BF2 it's only about Ea's version. I never see an add that says, try US Intervention Now! Or Check out OPK! PRMM ROCKS Says EA!.

We really want EA to look at our teams and go, "wow, I love what you did here, we should tell people to try this. Will host a special server called Mod of the Week for you!" but they don't. They don't support us the way I saw in 1942. It sucks. I was really hoping for big things but I feel now EA doesn't think we put enough effort in, or we are trying to steal profits from them. The More mod support the more people play. The more people who play the more Free advertising you get from word of mouth.

Also, Euro Force for free, or some new content would of been really neat for a lot of us. Even a new game mode. Maybe the Budget after BF2 was released, wasn't well planned out. I can understand not wanting to spend money on something that will make no profit when I could try and make something like 2142 and gain a little but I'd also show I have a great deal of pride in the work I did. Maybe I'd go and take the time to add a little new content for free every now and then. Shows that I work hard to please my fans and I think I speak for all mod teams when I say "Our Goal is to please the Fans" even if it means dipping into my own pocket from time to time to mak'em smile

LOL. EA should see if they can team up with Comedy Central. They are very good at creating parody like war videos :laugh: He yells "Fox One" when he fires an anti-tank missle.

and the traielr... now that i think of it... it was sort of a parody of modern combat:

completely innefective and unrealistic weapons... running away from a tank that could easily shoot you from taht distance... anti tank missles with air to air designations... buggys appearing in midair...a 10s that shoot bbs and drop the wrong kind of bombs... and lets not forget this one: THE US HAS BEEN INVADED. alll with stupidly dramatic music in the background

what a ****ing joke.

TO ALL MODS: We need to organize and make some sort of GIVE US SOME ATTENTION EA movement... or STOP ****ING US OVER EA!

Yes, download the mod's! They certainly derserve it, for the work they put in with no pay. I have just about had it with EA, not DICE. I still think DICE have good intentions, but EA calls the shots. It is a great shame.

The trolls will still troll around. I have bought all of their mods so far and have enjoyed each one. Even if I am buying a map pack; that is still worth it. Maps in this game really shape the gameplay and with each mod it has been better and better.

I personally have had very minimal problems; probably because I have patience and can try out different combinations of drivers and work out little problems. Stop telling people to not buy; when there are several thousand playing on-line. It is $10 measly dollars; I just hope you guys all don't have to experience the real world market and that it is pathetic to complain about. Complain if you have a problem; don't turn into a trolling little brat who just because mommy wouldn't give you the credit card or because you cannot handle $10 but own a computer/internet or other little toys that give you pleasure during your leisure time off from a hard days work.

Work out little problems? How does spending alot of time installing combinations of drivers solve EA bugs? If the game was so perfect, there wouldnt be any patches or hotfixes that bandaid people having problems with their patches.

My money goes to moders that care about the users and create something fun to play. Most of them have a paypal donate button. I made the mistake of buying SF and that was the last one. The mods are starting to roll out and they will get my donation despite cheap bastards like you who will play it for free yet give EA $10 every few months.

Unfortuanlly, you are wrong my friend. I haven't bought SF or EF , and I know for a fact that I am not buying AF. Why? Because mods are giving all that stuff for free + better gameplay + alot better gameplay.
