It has been brought to our attention by our forum member stryyker that the guys over at Gamespot have posted up the first official trailer for the upcoming Armored Fury booster pack. I have mixed reviews about the video. It didn't show much new but it did show new stuff. The video was so shaky that I wanted to yell at the camera man to just focus on what we are to be looking at for one second. And Fox 1... Isn't that for Air to Ground missiles? Could be wrong, not a real issue.

The Panning camera shots on the other hand were smooth and very well. Im talking about when the camera moved on an Arc, very nice but the DVP running into the side of the road... just looked lame. I was really hoping to see a chase on that Highway, something with the New Mec chopper, A-10 Flying along side the road and blowing oncoming tank road blocks and such.

I liked what I saw, just wish there was more to show. Where was all the other Armored Fury? I missed that part.

That and a few other quotes were from BFV... what the hell? I guess they were to lazy to do custom voice overs... sad. You'd think they'd maybe... oh well, nevermind, they woundn't consider going back to the more diverse radio styels of bfv and 42... sigh...

movie looked stupid. It opens with... 3 soldiers... 20 feet away from a MEC tank, and they are just running away. They would be dead from half a mile away from the tank that was 10 feet behind them. The tank does not start shooting at them untill they get farther away, and a freindly tank has been destroyed by two AT guys in very obvious spots. then an FAV appears in the air, and they lamely try to drive away. somehow... the tanks completely miss with thier cannons at this point.

then, two people are on an overpass, shooting at the fav drivng away, and someting that looks like a littlebird (yay PR ripoff) flys near. at this point, niether of the two mec guys even notice it, despite that it is hovering about 15 feet straight infront of them. then, a guy with a saw shoots a 3 or 4 round burst and kills them both (ill give you 10 bucks if you can do exactly that without dying, or using more than 5 bullets in actual gameplay)

now, the fav drives to a truck depot, and stops. the tanks roll up, and a10s appear. thier main guns seem to be completely ineffective, as they each empyt something like 100 rounds into the mec tanks, and nothign other than spakrs happen. then the a10s drop 2 bombs each... which kill the tanks. too bad the a10s werent cool enough to have cluster bombs...

only thing thats good about this expack is new statics for mappers.

I wish public game play was just like that, if that were a real round, the spec ops noob would of probably stapped the buggy with C4 and rammed the T90. Then the flying A-10s would of probably killed the other T90 and teamkill the rest.
