Its going to be for PC xbox 360 and ps3. Its being made the the same guy that moded DesertCombat. He is now making a game. I think its comming out this year for PC, 2007 for xbox360.

downloading now fingers crossed it works, ive just put on SF again and that downdated me to 1.1 so im going the whole hog and getting the full patch, opefully it will work

Yah I got banned from the Euro Force server 'La Cantina' for excessive TK. This must have been over time because I am a really good player and do not get sloppy.
Server side settings most likely.

I must be one of the few who haven't experienced a CTD or errors with the server browser...

However I am not happy with the vehicle drops.. Only squad leaders (and by that I mean ONLY squad leaders, in other words WHEN the squad leader wants a vehicle drop the commander can THEN drop it. or just drop the middleman for all i care)
And the squad jumping was a very important feature. You can't change something so major after a year.. that's absurd.

However I will still play the game, it is quite enjoyable. But I will join everyone else on the 3rd of June :)

My Special Forces dont work. All the servers are in red. And i dont know how to install Special Forces cuz I dont have the file and i dont want to buy it again.

so many bugs, but it's still fun!
weird things i have encountered: all karakand maps have weird 8 digit pings. that is the weirdest. ONLY karakand... and each and every karakand...
i just wanted to try out the new patch in my element, but NO!
increased lag.
and the most annoying, connecting to the account server takes about 3 minutes now!!! which is 3 times more then the super annoying 1 minute i used to wait.
but i suppose they do it to give you the fuel needed to kick butt in bf2.
increased frustration = increased desire to kill.

Out of topic, I just realized that a lot of posts here are from Privates, Private First Classes, and Specialists. Did u guys just registered and posted here because of the 1.3 patch?

Yes Alpha...since i d/l 1.3 i get this message....

"COULD NOT RESOLVE CONNECTION MANAGER HOST NAME"

Not only is the login time long but after waiting i still can't play the game!

Hence i'm here looking for answers.


Any tips on what to do and what not to do?

If you bought it online and used the EAD to download it, you can always get it again just by logging into the EAD with the same account you used to buy it the first time. You dont have to "buy it again", just download it again if it is not still in your EAD cache directory.

If you leave a squad while you are dead, you must first spawn at a flag and then you can join another squad. You cannot join a squad while dead. Its that simple.

Thanks for trying to help. I did buy it online. But as you can see it shows only two Battlefield 2 Special Forces. One is the patch, and the other just starts my bf2 sf up to play. I cant download anything.
