Battleracer v1.21 Released

The team behind the Battleracer mod have released the latest version (1.21) of their mod today. This new release brings about some changes and new features. Here is a quick description as well as some of the changes:

This mod strives to turn the battlefields of BF2 into racetracks. You can jump into DPVs on various racetracks (some new, some actually based on BF2 maps) and race! A big feature of Battleracer is the +R stat system. On 'Battleracer Ranked' servers, the results of your races are uploaded to a website where you can keep track of your accomplishments and records.

-The DPV handling has changed, to make it slightly more difficult but also lighter for longer jumps.
-The DPV has a front-mounted minigun that the driver can fire with the AltFire key (default is right mouse button).
-All tracks have been upgraded with more car spawns and spawnpoints, to ensure that everybody gets a place at the start line
-A flare gun has been added to the racer kit. Use it wisely.

Nope, I actually recommend that you uninstall the older version first. Not going to kill you if you forget, though. Either way it works.

Awesome, I love the 1.2 BR, but this is even more awesome. I got the mod but I don't know if I should install it without uninstalling the older version, so I'm gonna uninstall it anyways just to make sure.

This is a great mod. I like the new maps, except you really need to rmember the whole track to do it in the night. The gameplay is much better, esp. i like that the handling is different, it makes it more of a dirt racing feeling. I cant wait for the new maps to come out! great mod Elxx

I like it, good fixes and add-ons..

But Seaside 2006 is still giving me horrible lag, it did in the orginal version too
