The team behind the Battlefield Podcast site have released episode 6 of their series today. This new episode covers a couple of new topics including the squad hopping changes and info on BF 2142. Here's what they had to say:

Episode number 6 is now available! Titled Battlefield 2142 at E3, in this week's show we cover topics ranging from EA's official reply to the Squad Hopping Change Controversy, tons and tons of information about Battlefield 2142 that was revealed at E3, Terrorists using Battlefield 2, IDF – Fight for Independence mod spotlighted, as well as the usual tweaks and tips.

Great show guys!

The alleged "terror recruiting mod" was a movie made by a BF2 fan called SonicJihad with the special forces expansion and not with any modified content.
Hes actually being interviewd by Droid from Battleturd radio on his first show: "In the latrine".

I watched the enhanced version. Pretty nice. You need more of who ever the woman was or some other female voice on there to break up the drone of all male vioces, IMHO.

I always imagined podcasts would be pretty ghey and I never listened to one until episode 5 of bfpodcast. Was surprisingly good :) Enhanced version just didnt want to work for me though :/

Try downloading the enhanced version if you haven't. The stream doesn't work for me.. but I think I might know why.

Overall, I thought the podcast was ok. The only thing that I thought was rather odd was that you were interviewing IDF in regards to the Arab Israel conflict based on there mod and I found it rather ignorant that BF2 Podcast was clueless about what the Arab Israel conflict. Perhaps if you are going to interview someone in regards to an issue relating to a real storyline of that time period you should at least look into and not be so ignorant about the conflict. It’s ok though most normal everyday people are to ignorant outside of their little internet world!

Titus, it's not like I was ignorant regarding the conflict in the Middle East, it was more related to the conflict between 1967 and 1973. It's hard for people to not have heard of the current conflict and that's not what I was referring to. But you're right, I could have done more research. Unfortunately my girlfriend was in the hospital that week, so I didn't have much time to prepare.

I appreciate the criticism though and hope you'll tune in again :)

Peekj, I was hoping you didnt take it personal. I am someone that has been to that region and iam working on my masters in the US National Sec area and iam really into this area. Sometimes i can really be harsh and that wasnt my intention, i do and will keep listening it. Though i understand it was a great show and i look forward to the next one. Keep up the good work!
