High altitude bomber interceptor.. Will shoot you down before you even knew what hit ya, that's why it didn't need to be as maneuverable as a fighter.

That's the description for real life MiG-25, who knows how they designed it in DCon? They can make it fly like a helicopter if they want to you know?

Probably for testing purposes. Since they took a pic of it so it can't be a malfunction.

if u look its a sealed 2nd cockpit. it was done as a test of the supersonic speed ejection system.

and altho its a nice plane i still cant help thinking why? i mean there are far better planes out there to choose from in the A2A role. it seems a bit of a waste of alot of hard work

Because Iraq used them, simple as that. They are including the MiG-29, Mirage F1, SU-25 and MiG-25, pretty accurate Iraqi inventory.

that is a nice jet hoof....i think some of your best work man.........altho the tailfins are a bit too close togather..because the exhaust on this jet is massive...it has to be to propell it to mach3.

also iraq used tons of j7s and mig 21s... mig 23s..... hawker hunters.......mig 19s j6s..... su24s....... su7s....... su20s.......and a goofy hybrid from aerospatial that looks like a gazelle heli and a cesne if they were melted togather lol =].....maybe new iraqi UAV??

not a good enoug reason to have them. the above post shows atleast 2 other jets better suited to the A2A role on the map size we have to play on.

Maybe but you want to equilibrate air power. Realistically, none of the jets mentioned above stand a chance against any US fighter. They could have included some but they chose the high end of the Iraqi Airforce with jets such as the MiG-29, MiG-25, Mirage F1 and the Foxbat.
