How come I dont see many USA servers, everything iam pinging like 200, its not my internet. Maybe I'll rent a server and put up a 32 man usa server for USI

Whell i just had my first few hours of USI and i liked it
Awesome sound effects on the guns,planes and choppers.
Loved the zoom feature on the tanks plus different ammo types,loved the stinger etc etc. Very nice MOD guys!!

I just wanted to say for those that download it via torrent might get a 836MB file wich is only called USI_01_client witout the .rar extension (thats what happend to me) if so, just rename the file and put .rar behind the name and u will be able to extract it. U will get a folder with 4 files in it, just click the USI.exe and it will install the MOD.

First off, thanks for all the comments. Then I have to thank all the seeders, helping to spread this baby. We did ALOT of playtesting for the air vs ground and antiair thing, a small team full of 3 engineers will PWN everything up in the air. You guys just need to learn playing that mod Try to shoot down a helo with your tank. Tip: change to HEAT before

Yep. I haven't played yet, but it seems to be the same complaints most community members jump on the bandwagon when arguing that airpower is too dominating. I have NEVER had an issue with this, and I doubt I will in any mod.

Some people need to adapt, not complain and have things nerfed.

I'm just happy this mod is independant, and not going to rely completely on idiot remarks/comments on what needs changing. The simple fact that infantry can carry AA weaponry is already a step in the right direction and should prevent most from complaining.

Yeah that A-10 is nice all right. Just dont get under that GAU cannon! It is so weird, say, being in an MG emplacement, and the A-10 cruises up on you (the engine sounds so nice), and fires that gun. You start to see these big sparkes, and hear a thunderous roar, then....
Spawnscreen.
Same with the SU. Mean machines, indeed. Great weapon sounds. Too short period for spawning it felt like I was in the spawn screen half the round. Not sure if combat aircraft have beacon lights in the battlespace, but that's a cool effect.
Overall, awesome work. 9/10

I live in The Netherlands so the german servers are fine for me. I'm downloading at 320 KBps which is about 105% of my connection speed :) and my sister and neighbours are downloading too (1 line for two houses). i used bf2live.de...
should be ready in 9 minutes. Can't wait to get playing :) Are there any european servers running USI?

It's one thing to apologize when you are at fault, when money is riding on the release. However, I don't feel you should apologize to any public member willing to start a rant/bitch fest simply because they either have to wait too long, or because they have nothing good to say.

Again, I think those that complained and bitched should be the ones apologizing, not the creators.

If you should all remember, when BF2 demo was first released on gamespot.com, no one else had exclusive rights to have it right away, so people like me got the file within minutes where-as most others had to wait.

These things take time to propogate, and although the USI team could have taken a little extra time pushing the files to other servers for more various downloads, it really isn't that big of a freaking deal.

Your apology is not accepted, not because I'm an ass, but because I feel there is no need for you to apologize.

Thanks for the mod, I'm sure most of us will enjoy it. I know I enjoy anything new.

Nice to hear that the other team (Iraq) have an A10 equivalent, i was getting worried that only USMC will have some sort of super-tank buster with crazy gatling guns. :p

Gonna download it overnight, 800+mb, wow. Besides i can't play BF2 if i'm downloading this.

There are plenty on the main page of totalbf2. I suggest filefront, fileplanet, or filecloud. There good all round. Otherwise I dont know where else to link you to.

Nice bros. I like some of the open-road maps, the one where you were sitting in an avenger capturing a flag. The HIND with laser-guided...now, that was your second available choice for a weapon, right (as the pilot)?
