To install simply download, or use, WinRaR archiver. Once you open it up with WinRaR there will be an installer file that has like BF2MOD or someting for an icon. Double click on that, press install, get ready to be owned by me.

I think it is imperative we provide to any and all recognizable mods that are out. Without the support of a main organization (TotalBf2) the individual mod sites may not be able generate enough traffic to foster discussion and the survival of the mod. I am thinking right now USI, and Operation Peace Keeper. Already, after OPKs recent release, no one is playing. Only a few servers are even half way full. Remember, these mods dont have advertising, but they need it. OPK is an awesome mod. Anyway, I hope you atleast provide a sub forum for USI, becuase if it doesnt get bigger then the expansion packs that out suck. Infact I would stick right above special forces nice and high. GIve them some publicity, you have nothing to loose. It's for the community.

ermm i played a full 64 plyr game of OPK just today
alot of people who played OPK are probably going to be playing USI as of its release though. Then later on fewer people will play USI with POE2's release. thats why ppl need to start making more original mods, because im sure in a few months more people will be playing brickfield (lego mod) than USI and OPK put together :p

ok so How does this WINRAR work?? I extract it and its in the same folder and I click on that and all it does is open WINRAR again.

Extract the rar to a folder (or your desktop if you prefer) and double click the exe file. Follow the instructions, check "Create shortcut" and bam, you got USI!

wait how are you guys getting the dls within an hour i need help finding a place that doesnt have the dl site in GERMAN cmon why are 3 of the main dl sites you gave us in another language thanks a lot. well i respect that too but still help your american brothers in arms. the dl i have that will be done soonest will be done in 2 hours and 30 minutes. all of the torrents dont work in utorrent or anything and the rars i have an unzipper called extract now which works for any extracting of files but i cant do that until the files f***ing downloaded WHERE CAN I GET IT FASTER???????

I dont like it when people dont even know how to extract a file, they play these games everyday but dont know anything other then how to turn on their computer, lauch bf2 and join a server. It just seems kinda lame..in my opinion.

Every mod team needs to make sure they put a copy on Filefront so I can play them right after they get released

LISTEN HERE, Im not getting any ****ing exe file, I have extracted this file to my desk top, I now have 21 new icons, not one a ****ing .exe

I have also use my search function and its not comming up with the .exe

Instead of judging people trying helping and seeing if there is a problem that you are not recognizing

Extract this .rar file into "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods"
You'll know you've done it right if you see a USI folder or US Intervention or whatever the folder is called in there.

No need to be a smartass about it. Anyone can put a CD in to install a game but most gamers who aren't computer geeks don't get involved with mods and alot of times don't have a use for WinRAR for what they use their computers for.

i'm getting like 85kb/s .. will take me about another 3 hours to get the game

dang but it's worth it.. lol can't wait to get on the a-10 in bf2 engine

Woah man... You should have a "usi_0.1_client.rar" file downloaded somewhere (eg, Downloads folder). Just right click and select "Extract to usi_0.1_client\"

Go into that folder and double click the exe. Follow the instructions, select "Create desktop shortcut" and you're done.

Failing that, you do as the previous post - extract the USI.rar to your BF2/mods fodler and it "should" take care of itself... Obviously, no guarantees though!
