These changes are very much welcomed! I have already started to reap the benefits. The other day when I finished playing on a ranked server I went to the BFHQ and noticed that I had been awarded the Navy Cross and Golden Scimitar for 100 hours played as USMC and MEC. I thought it was a glitch at first and that I was looking at someone else's stats. LOL!

So are these changes being made to the stat server before the release of 1.3? Sorry if this has already been answered.

The vanilla service weren't really that hard to get. I mean, 250 hours isn't that much time.

What really surprises me though is that the SF service medals have gone from 4500 hours to 50 hours. lol

looks like EA forgot to change the "Insurgent Forces Special Service" medal down to 50hrs. another job done half-assed.

Did you really expect anything else from them?

Does this mean in a few more minutes of play I will get a second Golden Scimitar? Are they stackable?
