Wow pointless medals are more attainable!!! Love the game, just don't see the big deal about medals. Do people print them out, cut round them and pin them to their wooly jumpers when they play?? Blue peter style!

Personally i think these changes are actually needed. The reason i say this is because 2142 is not far away. People would want to acheive something before they move onto bigger and better games.

ENOUGHT NEWS ABOUT THE DAMN THING, Just release it. Im getting mighty ****ed off. But i guess there giving it time to "Test" and all that so maybe thismight be a good bug free patch. Most likely not, but i have some hope left.

What a bunch of crap. I was wondering why I got the People's medalion and Golden Scimitar. I JUST got the requirnments for the Navy Cross, but the other two I didn't. Cheap man, these are supposed to be hard.

Here is my viewpoint on it all........Just being given them doesn't make them worth it. Like everything else in life, working hard for it makes it much more enjoyable when you do get it. Do somethings need to be tweaked a little? Maybe, it depends on who you talk to. Someone always wants something given to them. Not that I am a great or even good player for that matter. But I do enjoy the itmes I have unlocked and/or have been awarded. Make it worth them to me.......Peace

This announcement is for updates in the 1.3 patch. Unless you are using the 1.3 patch at the moment, you didn't receieve those medals due to the lowering of the time.

I am guessing they release 1.3 Friday and AF sometime next week. At the latest, a week removed.

EA has never released patches on a Friday. EA needs to release 1.3 soon, i hope they fixed the hit detection in the game as well in this new patch. But i am guessing that there will be 1.31 soon after.

I'm assuming the new army service ribbon. Considering it's on US soil now, I think EA wanted to create a whole new feel to it.
