I am guessing they release 1.3 Friday and AF sometime next week. At the latest, a week removed.

Re: EA Community Update - 5/3/06

I had a feeling either the patch or other news would be posted today.. the testing on EA sites and the news being posted hours before on the EA/UK site was evident that the US site was getting the same news.. so after seeing it on the US site, I sent in a news request and obvioulsy the admins were right on the ball with it.

Im one of those guys opening my EA downloader every 15 minutes checking for 1.3 patch and constatnly checking EA sites for patch updates and Armored Fury news.

Its starting to also look obvious that EA is making these little posts to see how the public reacts.. then in haste if it isnt a good change they head to the drawing board making needed changes to the last minute patch release.. better to follow the grunts of all the forum complainers than to send out a patch that most every one hates and find out too late.

This guy on another forum posts said it right.... I cant find his post at the moment.. but basically he stated how many actual BF2 players frequent the forums like these and out of those most are here with heavy opinions and most are negative at that and only about 10% of those are Yay happy go lucky "I love everything EA does" kinda posters.. So basically most people on the boards that EA is listening to are the complainers... go figure.

EA I hope this isnt true and that you are obviously taking into consideration there are a large group of other players not associated with any boards at all that just love playing the game and also have opinions that need to be considered as well.

So before you go lowering the ranking system next or nerfing the jets or tanks to shoot peas... listen and PLayTest extensively.. dont just listen to player speculation... also use your better judgement and scientific aproach.

Whats good for one is not good for all just becuase the one spoke up and said it was so.

                            Thats complete crap.

After all that time spent getting the golden scimitar and navy cross, now some twat who has just got the game will end up with them in a month.

They reduce things WAY TOO MUCH for the crap players.

Logically if it were hard to attain things it would make players want to keep playing more, thus keeping the community, rather than unlocking almost all the guns at gunnery then ****ing off.

And if the wins are still the same thats bloody pointless, as you end up with 250 hours for that army anyway by getting the 450 wins ( yes its 450 ).
