They should have put up a install guide.

Here's what I did:

Unrared the exe file to the same dir. that the rar/zip file was in.
Opened the exe file and installed it.

just tried it out on g3 server..... nice mod!!!!! as many have said already, rounds are a bit short and the "start-screen" at the beginning of each round is a bit annoying....
even though: BIG applause to the creators of this mod!!!!!!

PS. easy and smooth installation with a nice and handy desktop-icon :-)

Also remember that you need 2gb of space left free on your harddrive to run mods properly. If you don't, it WILL crash.

Mod; Looks like alot of fun. The map however looks tiny. Should be more of a 3v3 map to me. As someone above me has said, paintball like skirmishing is often in woodland or old industrial areas. If they had an indoor map, that would be far more unique and addictive.

So this may be a silly question, but do Mods at all screw up the original game play? If I install the Paintball mod, will it casue issues with the the basic BF2 or does it just add maps where I can play the paintball version? Many thanks!

Ok, ive downloaded it and installed it. But when i try to view my "custom games" in BF2 it crashes. When i boot as paintball mod, it crashes as soon as i click "multiplayer".

What should i do?

You've never shot a paintball marker have you...

I don't think he has, im gonna play it and see how "straught" they do go though cause if they shoot like stingrays or something they do need just a tad bit more of an aim :P as for the no crosshair, I completely understand why because you don't "aim" in paintball really, but in a game you need some sort (no idea what type) of site though, its hard to steer away from a crosshair so im idealess there, it appears this is there first releash so maybe thats why there is only 1 gun, map, ect.

God, that guy ****ed me off.

This mod should have friendly fire turned off, because with the map sizes being too small, it's hard sometimes to NOT TK on accident.

Unless your Nexar, in which case, you can TK no matter where you are

Mod. is awesom I can hardly wait for the next version. couple notes for next version

Quicker rounds somehow (not sure how to implement this into a paintball video game without taking relism out)
Site-you don't need a site really just make balls appear better
more guns ect, more gear.

How do you get to the install? I'm stuck in winzip with two files;
paintballmod v0.1.exe -- says its not a valid rar file
paintball.rar --- I dont know what to do with this

help please
