An update from January,
Later today we will announce the Battlefield 2: Armored Fury™ booster pack for Battlefield 2™
If you look at this way and read it a certain way its as if they are saying this "today" was back in January and this is just an update such as screenshots and some other hype added to the January update that was already posted before...
Why do they have to be so D**MN vaugue.. it stupid really.. why cant they just say.. here today is an update from back in January when we first told you of the Armored Fury booster... take a look at our sweet screenies and you will see the 1.3 patch soon. NOT the way they did it.. its misrepresenting in a way.. actually in a big way.. TODAY is passed and again EA can eat my SH*tComment

I just think they should get some one else to write up these news releases or updates...
This guy writes as if hes stumbling down a flight of stairs or already has and jumbles his phrases from both memory and what he seems to be drinking at that moment.
I could just see him working for an advertisement company....
come in today or sometime soon.. look over our inventory and tell us what you think.. maybe we will sell you what you want but only after you first wait till tomorrow which is today when this ad is posted.
Or if he was a waiter.. you would ask for water and it comes only after your meal and with desert.. then instead of giving you what you ordered from a picture menu that looked totally awesome he serves you up some bagged lunch with grease dripping off the bottm but with a silver fork and a nice cloth napkin.
If this doesnt make sense.. I was trying not to.. just like EA.. hey Im in training here.. maybe they will hire me to do the writing now...

I don't know why, but I thought that the Euro Army would be part of this booster pack aswell. Alas that is not the case, and therefore my only chance of playing as them is restricted to 3 EF maps I dislike.
I'm not expecting this booster pack to be released within the next day or so, probably not even the next week especially if it requires 1.3 first.Comment

I read through all the posts, really. There seems to be some questions as to the flames behind the A-10. Im sure Im not the only Air Force guy here (vet. Now). I guessed someone else would have answered the question, they didnt so I will. The A-10s do have flames on take off, Blue-white if I remember right with a slight orangey yellow tinge. I have got to see them in action up close and am very glad Im on thier team. I worked the flight line at Red Flag and saw just about every thing that there is. So....I know big woop.
I only hope that the A-10s in game will be close to the real one in performance. It would be a big let down if it flew like an F-15 or something.
I guess Im looking foward to giving EA my ten dollars too, sigh. . . . . . . .RedComment

..and at last.. They talked about announce not release.. so sit back.. it won't come today. And not the next 2 Weeks.. that's EA.. wait one more Month..
And then when it's released you will be ****ed because the downloader won't work.. *gg*
And one month later, there are no servers online with these maps.. why?
Because we play Mods with more Content, more deepness in the Story.. Better Models, better Gameplay..
Some of you are talking from wohooo.. DC Like yeah.. Dreamers.. just dreamers..
You'll never have a feeling of DC just because there is a littlebird available.. BF2 steering ist a no go.. skill is nothing, just luck.. that's bf2..
Play USI, you will know what i mean..
You talk about awesome idea to invade US? USI posted such maps weeks earlier than EA..

It's not demandable to render lightmaps for a beta testing..
USI is great to play, it gives the feeling for a hard play, power, immense fights.. thats important.. every shadow is just peanuts :-)Comment

hehe grat one... btw. you can replace USI with every other mod you like... I just can't understand how people can be trickedby this (somehow perfectly placed) marketing. This doesn't work anymore on myself after spending some senseless 45€ for BF:V. The EF booster (which I also didn't buy, and I don't miss it) wasnt a big hit either as we see on the "populated" servers.Originally posted by UH60BHPilot
