The team behind the newly created Battlefield Podcast site have released episode 3 of their series today. This new episode covers a couple of new topics. Here's what they had to say:

In this week’s episode we talk about the upcoming Patch 1.3 for Battlefield 2, reveal the list of features in Battlefield 2142, and sit down to chat with the 1st Air Cavalry clan. We also bring you the latest news and a tip of the week that you cannot miss!

I think its great to hear that there are more Battlefield Minded Podcasts/Radiostations around.

I am really enjoying these podcast; I look forward to the further avenues that your podcast will explore in the future. I really enjoyed the info on the BF2142 though it’s to bad it is still a little vague. Overall i think you guys are doing a great job, still kind of feels like you are finding your legs.

Thanks! We had a bunch of recording problems this week and had to redo almost half of the podcast. So it's a bit patched together, but it works. We will continue to improve our timing as well as the quality.

Thanks! We had a bunch of recording problems this week and had to redo almost half of the podcast. So it's a bit patched together, but it works. We will continue to improve our timing as well as the quality.

I am really enjoying them, its seems to be the big thing right know! Iam a big trek gamer and they do the podcasting as well so i really enjoy it when there is alot of inside track stuff that not normal will know about it. Good luck!

I hear yeah there! Though perhaps its good sense it is a main person from DICE that worked on this and not 50,000 others that want to do it 50,000 other ways. So ill hold judgement though i hope they produce something for the community that will make them all happy.

When they said more "RPG" elements were going to be added to BF2142, they did mean to say more "RTS" elements...right?

im guessing they did meen rpg (as in roleplay) but if ur a commander i think that rts would be a good description aswell :)

I think they mean RPG. ie you earn some points and you can improve certain stats. We'll have to wait and see.
