    Battlefield Korea Mod Update

There is a new update posted today over at the Battlefield Korea mod website. They are back with a bunch of new media to showcase. Here's what they had to say:
The M1 and M2 Carbine just arrived. Only few may know the M2 Carbine - it looks very similiar to the M1 Carbine, but it features a full-automatic firemode. You can recognize it by it's 30-rounds-magazine and it's small switch to change the firerate. It also gained the later sight, so you can identify it even more easily...

    <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/m1carbine_render.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_m1carbine_render.jpg"></a> <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/m1carbine_ingame.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_m1carbine_ingame.jpg"></a>
    <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/m2carbine_render.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_m2carbine_render.jpg"></a> <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/m2carbine_ingame.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_m2carbine_ingame.jpg"></a>
We've also received these fine weapons! The PPSh-41 and the Type 50. The Type 50 is a chinese copy of the russian PPSh-41 but was only used with the 30-rounds-magazin to ease mass-production.

    <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/ppsh_ingame.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_ppsh_ingame.jpg"></a> <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/type50_ingame.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_type50_ingame.jpg"></a>

Nice to see some more progress from these guys. Be sure to swing by their site to learn more.

I can't wait for this, it is such a great idea.

You get to fly WWII era planes, and Vietnam era planes, fly helicopters, and all this good stuff.

I honestly think they should make a retail game like this, since people just eat up all the Vietnam and WWII games...

well, i hate to say it, but isnt making a game about making money?

This mod just looks better and better. The skins are just amazing. All weapons look like they are real.

It's sad to see that they only have two people doing all the work. Link.
Somebody from other big mod teams (PoE2, FH, US:I, etc.) just have to help them.

Nice work! Also, a great mod topic--I was always surprised that no-one did a mod for this for BF1942. It's a really interesting transition period between WWII style mechanised warfare and the more mobile conflicts to come later.

For the team: If you need help with pictures of iron sights, or even some other stuff.

Check out www.gunpics.net - it's an awesome site for pictures/videos of pretty much every WW2 gun.
