Battleracer v1.2 Released

The team behind the Battleracer mod are back today with their latest mod release. Here's a brief description of the mod as well as the changes in this latest version:

This mod strives to turn the battlefields of BF2 into racetracks. You can jump into DPVs on various racetracks (some new, some actually based on BF2 maps) and race! A big new feature in 1.2 is the stats system. On 'Battleracer Ranked' servers, the results of your races are uploaded to a website where you can keep track of your accomplishments and records. Soon we will also organize tournaments for racers, complete with fully automated scoring.

Six tracks are included in this release - two each from Karkand, Mashtuur, and Seaside Raceway. Later on we will release additional maps.

Just tried this mod on a Japanese server. Big fun!

Racing (with afterburner) on Karkand, totally drunk, 7 in the morning, on a japanese server. Can't beat that

I was on that server a few minutes ago, 29 people all racing at once is pretty chaotic. lol

The Sir server is passworded , and the only other server with people in it I ping 400 to lol

If you check that topic I linked to, it has the password for the Sir. server.

Yea I noticed after I posted and I was too lazy to edit it cause I wanted to play You saw me in there Elxx

Mod is really cool and fun, but I just hate how everyone rams at the beginning of the race like smacktards. I always get a nice spot off to the side lined up out of the way of everyone and people just run into me to be dicks. Thats okay, I just hang back behind everyone now and I start boosting when I see "1" come up and I fly in front of everyone. :) Great mod. Just needs a little smacktard regulation.
