We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
I just hope it doesn't end up like Counter-Strike when you're trying to find a server to play in but keep picking servers with lots of bots. They should include a filter box that lets you choose whether or not to show servers with bots.
There will be such a thing. Filter by gamemode. :P

First and foremost, I log into the EA servers to play against Human Players. If I want bots, i'll play offline. I think i have about 4 minutes all total in singleplayer, and 3 of those minutes are where I hit the wrong button (s).
I guess what im saying is...........

i dont think it will be bot play on ranked servers? what gave you that idea?
anyway,
coop is humans v bots ,
but the point of coop is you can host a server on lan(no internet con)and play with youre buddys.
or.......
create a server with bots(online) and have youre buddys join in for some pracy /fun
ranked will be kept for human vs human (more than likely)
I care |--| much, why not implemend a real new gamemode like supply lines. Yeah the one that got cut for no apparent reason.

I think how would the Ranked server with bots work.
Nah.......There will be no ranked servers with bots even if bots are on hard difficulty they are still easy to defeat!
If the game includes bots then it isnt hard to add them in the Multiplayer!
Only tho we can play SOME maps what is 16 with bots in Multiplayer!
If there will be bigger Multiplayer maps what will support Bots then this patch will be huge!
Do you think these bots will be more advanced than singleplayer bots?...otherwise its not that difficult to create a co-op mode. prehaps its the very fact that co-op is not that hard to create (although im not techie) that they are doing this instead of creating CTF or destroy ships or battle of britian complicated things...
Hooray! I too have played several of the 3rd party Co-op mods and found them to be very nice. Each had their own flavor but I too hope that your normally unlocked weapons will be available in the Co-op. Sometimes when introducing friends to the game its best to pit them against bots and talk them through the aspects of the game Co-op is perfect for that. Its definietly fun for Lan parties. A bot configure would be perfect to allow players to add or subtract the number of desired players.
I own SF and EF so my 1 main hope is that they provide Co-op for those maps as well.
Co-Op/MPI can be a lot of fun and challenging given good AI. I'm an AI editor myself in another game and they can be made even deadlier than humans. Just try sticking your head around a corner in NAW on Expert settings if you don't believe me. "Headshot!"
DICE already released those new maps, haven't you heard? They added them all in a pack called the "BF2 Editor". Apparently people are actually considering making their own maps! How amazing!

Apparently the majority of this forum aren't familiar with the tireless modding community who work their asses off to give you content. Everything you play doesn't need to be spoon fed to you by DICE, so stop crying just because they're not making the stuff you want. They made the game, you bought it. It's your problem now. I know I'm not alone when I say 'Thankyou DICE for all your hardwork so far, and I welcome any further updates in the future!'. I don't care whether they add Red/Blue fixes, COOP mode or AF for free, any update is an update.
