It depends on your skilllevel IMO

If you play 21CW and try go it alone, the opposing team will break you down to pieces. In a pub server, I'll regularly get 1st or 2nd place. In a 21CW server, I'm stuck at place 10 or higher.

A tip for all new recruits ... forget the habit of checking the scoreboard every 10 seconds. It's all about teamwork in this tournament. Squads will practice throughout the week to prepare for a mission and, believe me, some of them are sneaky bastards

since i been playing 21cw my stats have gone through the roof, check stats on bf2s, Click me joined at the end of januaray and look at the bump, as you can see also, i dont play pub as much as it just doesnt compare to 21cw, forget what you think you know from all those hours of pub play, in 21cw the only thing thats good for is knowing the map, pub tactics are squashed in 21cw, give it a try

I'll add my 2 cents here, I am a Private in BF2 . . . I don't like pub playing nor clan matches as 90% of the time its cheap game play. I do play in 21CW battles all the time. It is by far the best gameplay that has ever hit any BF game.

I'v always found clan play to be more luck then anything. 21CW Battles are 12 hours long, not one or two rounds, so the more skilled division that can adapt and overcome usually wins, not the one that has the best round start strat.

Im going to sign up and try it, sounds like fun. Ive been too busy lately to fight with my clan because of MOD work. To say that clan matches are more about better strat and start though doesnt make any sense to me.

The skill of the clan members and there ability to follow through on a solid plan is not luck, not when my boys and I are doing it anyways.

Someone tell me how this differs from a clan match...

1) There are very few clan matches (if any) that are 64 player. Those that exist are completely disorganized. 21CW has 4 divisions with around a 150-200 men each, broken up into squads. Think of each squad a small clan that answers to their superiors. The general lays out the battle plan, gives it to the squad leaders and the squad leaders figure out how to best complete the objective.

2) All battles are overseen by the high command of 21cw, meaning if a cheater runs loose they will be found and kicked out. Exploiting and other things of that nature are completely non-existent because there are a set of rules that everyone agrees to follow. There are few disputes.

3) Clan matches do not last from 12 noon to 12 midnight.

4) Clans are alot more casual than the tournament folk are. These guys are really dedicated. There's no need to search for a 'match' because there is a battle every week for every division.

5) Very few clans have badasses like our generals. Those guys' voices will make you duck in your chair. Very general-like

6) when you call for reinforcements in 21cw, you actually get reinforcements.

7) you dont kill a 'certain amount of people' to get promoted, you get aknowledge by real people, not a computer system/written code, so your promotions feel much more awared.

8) you have your own armour unit, airforce, special forces and infantry squadrons per division, all specilised in their profession, so your getting the best of the best doing their job instead of some guy just grabbing an apc and driving around shooting up stuff.

im from belgium , got a ping of 95-99 with NO , i repeat NO lag at all thx to the excellent server that MYIS provided!
im pretty much always in the top 5-10 of the overall server so it cant be bad
join up , try it out, you might like it if not then you can just leave , its not like it cost you anything

I just finished my first full campaign with 21cw and loved it, so I signed up for second. Looking forward to kicking some opposition ass!
