Looks great. As long as you release before 2142, which I'm sure you will, I think the fanbase will still be here. Of course it's anyones guess whether 2142 will take players away from '2', I'm just speculating.

imo i reckon 2142 is the same engine, just different skins and models.

If you look at the succes FH1 still has today, I doubt FH2 will have problems finding players. The most FH1 players will switch to FH2, the there will be lots of new BF2 players who did not know FH1.
