Little EA support is not the reason it takes so long. Modelling skinning and coding takes a lot of time, EA cannot help with that.

We can't lay it all off on them.

that argument may have sway with other mods but with FH2 it is completely irrelevant. WW2 fans with BF2 wont be going anywhere in a hurry IMO

Haha, that little tank is so ugly it's actually kinda cute.

Lack of skinners has always been a slowdown for the mod community, but honestly I think EA's lack of support is slowing FH down more than a lack of skinners, they have more working skinners than many mods honestly.

As for BF:2142, I won't be buying it, and I hope the rest of the mod community will show their support and not buy it till we get some decent mod tools.

Cant say i like the skin either. Doesnt have the WW2 feeling. Maybe darker colors and more dirt would make a difference

All skin colours in FH are taken from real regulation swatches. Those for which a swatch cannot be obtained are estimated from many many source images. :)

I'd play FH2 over 2142 any day of the week.

Hell yeah.

FH2 is looking awesome.

A few posts have discussed this before, I think this will nicely split the community - the EA fanboys will chase the latest greatest (2142) while the true BF players will be left with FH2.

It kills me waiting for FH2, but when I see updates like this I know it's all worth the wait.
