A-10 looks ok.... israel never used A-10 and never had a reason to buy them....
and the IAF will not buy it... be sure..........

i can say its for sure because the A-10 is an old aircarft and even the USAF
are closing few of thier squadrions because its old and they want to take it out of service.........
The IAF is looking for multi-mission aircraft like F-16 and F15, thats why we orderd a special variants of them F-16I and the F-15I...
any way the the A10 was brought into service in 1975......52 years (mod time line)

America's military higherups have always had an issue with the a-10. Once it proved itself in the middleeast they really couldn't can it. But, now that the machinery required to produce it is gone they have the perfect excuse.
Isreal on the other hand doesn't nor has a reason to dislike the a10. Theres no modern aircraft in the world that can do what the a-10 does. If Isreal was given the premission to build the aircraft they would be creating new tooling. Lets not forget that Isreal still flies f4s. If it works don't **** with it and replace it by something that doesn't.

If you however have a better suggestion for that role of aircraft stop by our forums and let us know. But, thats where we are coming from.

Deployment dates:

F-15 = 1972

A-10 = 1976

F-16 = 1979


Show me one mod that is entirely accurate to what's happening in the real world? There is such a thing as artistic license. It is just a game after all.

Even with upgrades to the avionics package and engines the IAF F4's are getting long in the tooth aren't they?

Still my mount of choice in Strike Fighers though, well that and the A-7.

As for fifty year old airframes in the USAF inventory, there is always the Buff ...

Yeah, the B-52 is 51 this year. The C-130 turns 50. If it still is capable of doing the job, why trade it in? LOL
