This just in from the G4:
During the company's GDC 2010 press conference, Sony announced that the PlayStation Move will be playable with a second, Wii Nunchuk-esque controller, that Sony aptly referred to as the PlayStation Move Sub-Controller.
The sub-controller will feature an analog stick and other standard controller options as well, similar to Nintendo's Wii Nunchuk.
Sony also confirmed during the demonstration that Zipper Interactive’s recently announced SOCOM 4 will be compatible with PlayStation Move and the sub-controller. Whether it will be playable without the secondary controller remains to be seen.
Information about the sub-controller leaked a few days ago, but this is the first official announcement to come from Sony.
