when I try to play on ranked servers, my BF2 tells me that I need to check my internet connection... but I can play on unranked servers
is this because of my cd-key?
I bought a brand new sealed BF2 from ebay and after a few months, I realized that it's Asian Pacific Edition.. the seller told me that it's perfectly legal to sell those editions and there's no difference between North America Edition... is this true?
if not, do I need to pay extra to play on ranked servers or do I just need to get a North America Edition?
ok I think I fugured it out
I checked the same version only in the filter and I couldn't see any servers,
and when I unchecked it, I saw a bunch of servers showing in red color
1.0.2442.0 <-- this is my Battlefield 2 version
is this uptodate? I don't think it is
how do I update it safely? I saw a lot of articles reporting problems after update to the latest version and I don't want that to happen to me
