I think this rifle is way better than the other two. I could snipe fairly well in 42 and Vietnam, but I can't hit crap in BF2. I unlocked this and earned my sniper badge the very first map I used it on.

It's night and day for me.

And for christ sakes its not a tier 3 its a tier 2, if it was a tier 3 it would be the 3rd sniper unlock.

Default Weapons = Tier 1
1st Unlocks = Tier 2
2nd Unlocks = Tier 3

I really prefer the L96A1. I got nine long difficult headshots on Zatar last night I never got with the M24 or M95. Sounds cool too.

I hate it, It makes the worst shots in the world good shots, I hate seeing people who coulnt hit **** with the m24 or .50 cal start sniping, ****es me off, leave it to the true snipers who have been sniping from day 1

I love L96A1 as you can see by my sig.
The M95 does some sweet damage but it sometimes makes me miss with its deviation.

So I am only missing the P90 and the L96a1 for my unlocks, and i am 20,000 from my next rank. If i get EF will I get an extra UNLOCK?

No, EF doesn't give you any unlocks.

For you 2nd unlocks 1 of the following 2 things needs to happen.

1) Someone plays your account that owns SF.

2) You install Sf and play a round of SF.

You get 2 weapons that are included in the EF army, the P90 and the L96. They are default weapons for the EF army. When SF was realeased they had no unlocks for the Sniper and Anti-Tank kit. In a later patch (1.2 I believe) they gave you the ability to unlock those two weapons (P90, L96).

THanks.. i have SF and acutally unlocked some weapons for some friends... but i am ****ed that i am missing 2 unlocks and have 20000+ points till i get my next rank...

You would spend or did spend $30 for unlockable weapons? f00L!
SF is awesome. You need not buy SF, you play 1 round on SF and you log out. Upon logging in and your account updating, you should have the other unlocks. While playing EF, the L96 is available as Tier 3 to all armies except the EU. It is their standard weapon. In regular BF2, it is available as a tier 3 unlock to ALL armies.
