How do I increase the resolution?

Hey fellas I was changing the video settings and the max I can make it is like 1152X864. Now I was wondering how can I increase the resolution, preferably to 1440X900 because I have a widescreen monitor? Also should I set it to 60Hertz or 75? What's the difference?

75 Hz is less likely to give you eyestrain.

No, he has an LCD. Refresh rates don't really make that much of a diffrence on LCDs.

To the OP, BF2 doesn't support widescreen.

if u still want to increase ur resolution...
"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 1024

copy that into ur shortcut target box (right clikc on shortcut -> properties) and cahnge the 1280 and 1024 to ur resolution of choice

copy that into ur shortcut target box (right clikc on shortcut -> properties) and cahnge the 1280 and 1024 to ur resolution of choice

Why add that? 1280 by 1024 is an option in the in game settings.
