i know what alot of u guys are going to say that this medic weapon sucks and thats what i thought about it alos at first until now. now i think its rocks. it has it all. it kicks arse up close and far away. i have been using it for the past few weeks and i love it. try it out again and give it a chance. it takes getting used to but when u do get used to it owns.

i totally agree...sortof...after seeing that it takes 3 bullets to kill non armor infantry...i would swtich to single shot and just pick off ppl...but thats also the same with the pkm (3 shot kills) but the pkm dealt better against armored infantry..so i prefer the pkm over l85 but the l85 is definately beast for semi-sniping -

I've been using the L85 more since its buff, and I rather like it now. The deviation is still as shaky as ever, but it's still a good weapon.Comment

I prefer it over the G36E, the L85A1 is a headshot machine. It's one hit to the head for instant kill and has a great scope/sight to make the head shots with.Comment

I think there's an exploit for l85a1. People will be strafing sideways with it, and kill me instantly. Either a headshot script, or a ******** weapon.Comment

In 1.21 and before I used the G36E over any other Medic weapon, but recently ther L85A1 seems to work very very well for me. So I might have to redo my decision. Besides that the AK's are great weapons as well, so I am not sure yet what to pick.Comment

is the g36e the other medic weapon b/c if it is i used to like it but i really got tired of the 3 round burst. thats why i switched to the l85 and will never look back. plus being a medic if u get in a confrotation and get ur health depleted just run away and re heal and reload and get back into the action and more than likely the person u got into a gun battle with will still have his health almost gone and all it takes is a couple of shots.Comment

Which is one of the primary reasons I really think the Medic class needs a healing mechanic Nerf. I mean, really, they can survive more gun-battles and Spec-Ops and Assault, and they are supposed to be a supporting role.Originally posted by Stilla-Killa

Also, a Medic's "OWN" bags dropped only heal 25% of his total health per' bag picked up. Thata' way, a Medic is more confined to the "Common Laws" of BF2 Combat. Instead of being this unholy god of endurance that can survive 12-20 encounters with ease.

L85A1 = horrible at any scoping. It's the most inaccurate weapon I've shot. The G36E is the best unlock to get, honestly it usually takes 1 burst to kill someone in the head, which is good. It's rate of fire is spectacular. The L85 is probably one of the best at close range but I can't see it headshooting anyone with zoom.Comment
