Did you turn your settings down too??

When I first got Bf2 it was to hardcore for my comp. so I played in everything on low.
Upped my specs a wee bit and could pull all high off smoothly.
But it just sucked.
Shadows and some other thigns made aiming a lil harder on the eyes.
I noticed sometimes I would shoot shadows.:laugh:
So I finally had to tweak a High/Med setting, I think it works wonders.
Yes I know some say the game is meant to be played cranked up so why waste it...well thats what Oblivion is for and MMORPGS and such.
ANyoen else have to turn it down?

i keep mine all on high settings and AA turned off. runs fine for me.

I just recently found the best settings for my pos dell. mostly medium except I turned of dynamic lighting and shadows but turned regular lighting on medium and it looks beautiful to me. it is a little harder to aim now since I tend to see people "hiding in the shadows".

Yeah i feel sorry sometimes thinkign that areas that are dark for some people on high are bright for me and easier to see.
Ive seen alleys and in Building rooms that so dark, but on lower settings its lit up and much better.

i know what your talking about, all you need to do is turn lighting to med or low whatever you prefer and you wont be shooting shadows no need to turn everything else down.

All low, shadows are a handicap.

i use to play medium effects and textures with 83% visibilty with some lag for the demo..but then in the game..patch after patch..i seem to go down in video settings...but then i realized..if i want eye candy..play source...so now im on all LOW >
